Select 1 health care accreditation organization, such as The Joint Commission, Det Norske Veritas (DNV), or National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).  

Research the accreditation organization’s scope of practice in the state where you live and how it relates to compliance. 

Create a 10-minute, 9- to 12-slide voice-over presentation using either Microsoft® PowerPoint® or websites like Google Slides™, Adobe® Slate, or Prezi™. 

Explain the following in your presentation: 

• The role of the accreditation organization and the relationship to compliance 
• The importance of accreditation when hiring licensed professionals 
• The importance of checking the federal exclusion list for excluded providers 
• Cite 3 reputable references to support your presentation (e.g., trade or industry publications, government or agency websites, scholarly works, or other sources of similar quality). One must be scholarly or peer-reviewed. 

  Format according to APA guidelines. Include a title slide, introductory slide, conclusion slide, and reference slide. Cite all sources. Include speaker notes throughout.
