Summary of Content:
Students are required to complete a project that incorporates persuasive techniques and creativity. Students will choose a product/service that they would like to advertise. They must conceptualise a brand and campaign to promote their product/service.
The project will be graded in three parts as seen below:
1. Written:
20 points
Write a 2 minute pitch sale/speech/advertisement to your target audience. Ensure that you have at least 3 persuasive techniques within your writing (3 paragraphs minimum). This writing piece will be added to your end of term writing portfolio.
Creativity:
10 points
Using household products or craft items, create a replica of your product (or something tangible) to represent your service offered. Ensure that your visual presentation correlates with your product/service and is appealing to your target audience. Students are encouraged to be
CREATIVE. Your work should
NOT look identical to common brands.
2. Oral:
20 points
Students must bring their written and creative components of the project to present to the class. Students should practice their presentation beforehand. Presentations should be delivered
confidently. Students are encouraged to be creative with their approach to present (persuade/sell) their product/service.
